A British Columbia motor inn, operates on a smaller scale
and tends to offer onsite food and beverage services, meeting
and banquet facilities and selected recreational activities.
British Columbia hotel and motel accommodations generally
have higher rates in the peak seasons from May to September
and offer package deals in the off seasons with discounted
rates.
The exception to the rule is ski resort motels in the summer where they tend to be busier in the winter seasons.
