French Creek Cottages is centrally located on Vancouver Island, in between the seaside communities of Parksville and Qualicum Beach. The waterfront cottage resort is nestled on a ridge slightly above the ocean, resting among trees, set back from the sandy beaches and ocean tides. From the shore the marine views stretch for miles. There are boats coming and going and sometimes seals can be heard barking far off in the distance.

The rustic well kept cottages vary in floor plans and views. Some are stand alone, others are duplex type cottages. Each accommodation is fully self contained and comfortably cozy. The cottage units come with complete kitchens, cooking utensils, a dining table and chairs, comfortable beds and living areas with a TV, but no phones (which is good in many cases). The 1 or 2 bedroom accommodations come with a queen bed or 2 single beds. Some units have a pull-out couch (sofa) that can be used as a bed also.

The coastline beach of French Creek provides plenty of activity to entertain. On low tides the oceans recede and make room for morning strolls exploring the cove and rocky shoreline. On occasion sightings of Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Hawks, Deer and Seals have been spotted.

The common area for all cottages is ideal for small and large gatherings because of the large grassy area, picnic tables, children's playground, BBQs, bunny rabbits (yes, we said bunny rabbits) and an indoor swimming pool (no lifeguards on duty so always have parent present).

From the accommodation resort one can walk to the local marina where there is a pub restaurant and some marine shops. French creek is a 5 minute drive north of Parksville and 5 minutes south of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada.
