Kiwi Cove Lodge is located
on southern Vancouver
Island near Ladysmith
BC neighbouring the region of Yellow Point just
south of the city of Nanaimo,
B.C., Canada. The wooden lodge accommodation is
situated on 10 acres of pastoral land with rows
on rows of kiwi vines, some walking trails, forested
areas, shaded grounds, an outdoor hot tub and viewing
benches looking out onto Ladysmith Harbour.
The lodge is custom built of entire wood and encompasses
two floors. The fine polished wooden floor hallway
on the main floor of the lodge leads to a large
dining area with views of the kiwi fields, an entertainment
area with TV, radio, books and games and a small
private wired conference room.
The second floor accommodations are comfortable,
clean and elegant. The king and queen beds are decorated
with fine linens and rooms painted in country colors.
The rooms are furnished with a sitting table and
chairs, small fireplace, tea and coffee refreshments
and a fully equipped ensuite.
Amenities vary per room (so ask) such as soaker
tubs, jetted tubs, futons, separate sleeping rooms
or gas fireplaces. But serenity is guaranteed as
there is no in-room phones or TV. A phone is in
the lobby if need be.
The ladysmith lodge is host to many small business
gatherings and is a popular location for wedding
pictures and honeymoons. The kiwi breakfast included
with your stay is a treat and worth savoring. All
guests are encouraged to take a stroll exploring
the Kiwi Lodge estuary.
Thanx to our Hosts, Peggy and Doug... good people
in BC EH.
